Everything you need to know about how dryGo works.
Three steps. You place an order and pick a pickup window. We come to your door, collect your garments, and take them to our professional cleaning facility. Once they're cleaned and pressed, we deliver them back to you. You never leave home.
We serve Vaughan and the surrounding area. Not sure if you're in range? Send us your address and we'll confirm before your first pickup.
Our per-item prices are the same as what you'd pay at a walk-in dry cleaner. Pickup and delivery are included. You get door-to-door service at no premium over dropping off yourself.
Yes. Our minimum order is $50 before tax. You don't need to add up your items in advance; we count and price everything when we collect it. If the total for an order comes in under $50, the $50 minimum charge applies. It's usually easy to reach with a few garments, and it lets us keep pickup and delivery included at no extra cost. If you're ever unsure, just ask before your pickup.
We run on a fixed pickup-and-return schedule, so you always know when your garments are coming back:
| We pick up | You get them back |
|---|---|
| Monday | Thursday |
| Tuesday | Friday |
| Wednesday | Monday |
| Thursday | Monday |
| Friday | Tuesday |
No pickups or returns on statutory or civic holidays. Specialty and household items (gowns, leather, suede, curtains, rugs) take longer and are handled by appointment. We'll confirm timing with you before any work starts.
Once we've collected and assessed your items, you'll get an itemized invoice. Payment is completed before we deliver your finished items back to you. It's how we protect against mix-ups on higher-value orders. We currently accept e-transfer, and card payment is coming shortly.
Our standard is payment before delivery. That said, we understand things come up. If you need us to work something out (a card issue on delivery day, for example), reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion. Please just ask in advance rather than assuming.
Yes. We use Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors, to handle every transaction. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure system. They never pass through our website and we never see or store your card number. If you save a card, we hold only a secure token from Stripe, never the card itself.
No. If you'd rather not set up an account or enter payment details online, just contact us at [SERVICE PHONE] or [SERVICE EMAIL] and we'll arrange your pickup directly and sort out payment another way.
Yes. Every order moves through five clear stages you can see in your account: Order Placed → Picked Up → Processing → Ready for Delivery → Delivered. You'll know exactly where your garments are at every step.
Yes. As long as we haven't picked up your garments yet, you can edit your pickup time, addresses, notes, or promo code, or cancel, right from your account. Once we've collected your items, contact us and we'll work out the best option with you.
No, and that's deliberate. Just tell us when to come. We count and assess your items when we collect them, and you'll see itemized pricing on your invoice before payment is due. There's a spot to note a specific stain or a garment that needs special attention.
It helps, but it isn't always required. You can authorize an unattended pickup or delivery at a safe spot, and we'll coordinate the details. Anyone at your address who accepts the delivery is treated as authorized to receive it.
We take great care with every garment, and cleaning is done by an experienced professional facility. In the rare event of a problem, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number and we'll make it right, usually by covering the cleaning and offering a credit toward future service. Our liability is capped per item and per order; full details are in our Terms of Service.
Let us know within 14 days and we'll arrange a reclean as a courtesy. A reclean is a goodwill gesture rather than a guaranteed timeline, and we'll fit it into our next suitable run, but we'll always do our best to make it right and get your garment back looking the way it should.
Tell us before we collect it. If an item is worth more than $500, you need to declare its value to us in writing in advance so we can agree how to handle it. If you don't declare it, our standard liability limits apply no matter what the item is actually worth. This applies to wedding gowns, furs, designer pieces, and anything irreplaceable.
Items without a manufacturer care label are accepted at your own risk, since we can't verify how they should be treated. We'll always flag anything we're unsure about before proceeding.
Yes, and specifically, we don't use perc. Most dry cleaners clean with perchloroethylene ("perc"), a chemical with well-documented health and environmental concerns. Our cleaning partner doesn't use it. The solvent they use instead is non-toxic, listed as non-hazardous, biodegradable, and gentler on your fabrics.
It's not just about the environment. It's about the people who handle these chemicals every working day. That's a choice we made deliberately when we picked our partner.
